Throughout the journey of life, one will encounter many ups and downs, twists and turns. Well, it is not the events that happen to us that shape our experiences, but how we choose to navigate through them. One of the most important things we can do for ourselves is to make the effort to connect with the higher power that many call source, God, or the infinite intelligence.
In my own personal experience, I have seen how being connected to this higher power can bring a sense of peace, joy, and harmony to our lives. When we are connected, everything seems to fall into place and we are better equipped to handle whatever challenges may come our way. I have found that the strength of our connection has a direct impact on the size of the problems. The stronger the connection, the smaller the big problems appear to be. On the other hand, I have also seen the negative impact that can result when we are disconnected from this higher power. When we are disconnected, we may feel lost, stressed, and drained, and our lives can seem like an endless series of struggles.

It is our responsibility to make the effort to connect to this higher power. Some may believe that connection is something that comes naturally, but I have found that this is not always the case. Instead, I believe that we must be proactive in our pursuit of connection. This can be achieved through a variety of means, such as prayer, meditation, being in nature or even doing the things that just plain feel good. It is important to understand that when we are connected, not only do we benefit ourselves, but we also positively impact those around us. I have seen how this can create a ripple effect, spreading peace, love, and good vibes throughout our families, communities, and even the world.
On the flip side, when we are disconnected from our inner selves, our higher power, or the infinite intelligence, we can have a negative impact on those who are connected. People who are connected emit positive energy, which acts as a beacon to those who are disconnected. It is common for people who are disconnected to feel drained when not in the presence of a connected person, in order to unknowingly drain their energy and joy. Unfortunately, those who are disconnected may become fixated on the connected person, even to the point where they feel depleted when not in their presence. As a result, the disconnected person becomes extremely needy, thus causing the connected person to minimise contact. The disconnected person then feels rejected.

This can be harmful to the well-being of both parties involved. This is why it is so important to make the effort to connect yourself and remain free from the need of others. It is important to note that those who are disconnected do not usually comprehend the importance of connecting to the source themselves, and may instead cling onto the connected individual. The reason for this remains frustratingly unclear, but it could be as simple as allowing them the space to discover their own path to the source. Regardless, it is our personal responsibility to make the effort to connect to the source and maintain a harmonious balance within ourselves and with those around us.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that connecting with the higher power is not just a personal choice, but a responsibility we have to ourselves, those around us, and the world. It is through this connection that we can bring peace, love, and joy into our lives and everything that surrounds us. So make the effort, invest the time, and connect with the higher power. Your life, and the lives of those around you, will be forever changed for the better.
